Photgrapher and Photograph Service
About Me
Step into my world behind the lens. With over 30 years of experience, I specialise in capturing the beauty of the everyday—from the delicate details of nature to the high energy of street photography and private events.
I believe every photograph is a frozen moment of history. There is something truly special about owning a unique image that no one else has; and I can even help you to create what you want as we work together to create someting very special.
My journey has been defined by a passion for people and storytelling. After years in high-end hospitality—looking after a diverse range of clients across the UK—I moved to London in 2001 and eventually transitioned into teaching. For the last 15 years, I’ve dedicated myself to supporting young people with special needs, helping them find their own paths in towards a successful future of their own.
Throughout it all, my camera has been my constant companion. Whether I was cycling thousands of miles across the globe for charity or navigating daily life, photography allowed me to weave a rich tapestry of memories. Documenting how others live has allowed me to approciate and understand many cutures and so capturing them I always want to keep the images true, no editing, but to tell thier story, their way, whilel respecting the scene. I always leaeve everything exaclty as i find it, ready for the ext artist. This part of the proccess is somehting I have always been very passionate about, and I will never fake what I see or use AI to manipulate thier story.
Now, I want to do the same for you. Let me help you capture your own unique history through my lens.

Where it all started...
Photography has been my life’s pulse since the summer of ’87.
One evening, a hot air balloon came crashing into our house, and as I grabbed the camera to document this moment, In the excitement, the images were all blurred, but I did not let that stop me. Iagine a time when AI did not even exist. I had a lot to learn,
I spent that entire summer with my dad’s vintage Canon, shooting for an imaginary country magazine. While my mum was quietly playing along—conveniently "leaving" various props around the house for me to find. She saw the vision (and probably my future) long before I did. Thanks Mum.
It was during this summer that I discovered the magic of reflections, when i found an old mirror in the attic. I like to think it’s still out there under the ivy, hidden and forgotten, still capturing reflections and memories. Reflections have remianed integral to a lot of my work over the years. I see puddles very differently to most people.

Some shots are years in the making. While photographing a wedding in St. Lucia during my own honeymoon, a sudden rainfall turned a fleeting moment into the dream image I’ve always envisioned. Sometimes you just go with the flow.

I really like this photo, taken in Italy last year of the local childrens football tournament, I was just standing on the roof of our hotel, but it looks like I am peering into another world thorugh a crak in side of a wall. Even a photograph can make the viewer see thier own little story.

Sometimes it is the finest details that matter the most. It was really important for me to capture this detail here, while at the same time paying repect to the subject itself. This is where my storytelling takes centre stage, yet still keeping the integrity of the Hero carrying the sword.

Last year I went to Norway, hoping to get a shot of the Northern Lights, sadly we were disapointed. Never mind, we now get them in South East London. And no, I have not changed this photo, i just left it as it was taken on my Iphone 15.
