About Me
Let me take you into my world behind the camera lense and show you what I can see. With over 30 years experience I offer a wide range of genres from flora and fawna to parties, events and street photography. I beleive that every photo captures a moment frozen in time; think of it as a piece of history, and who doesnt dream of owning a piece of history that no one else has.
With a background formerly in Hospitality where I was privileged enough to serve and look after the rich and famous, all over the UK, making friends along the way, I decided to move to London in 2001. In 2003 i retrained and became a teacher, and for the past 15 years I have specialised in teaching young people with special needs, in, of all things, Hospitality and Catering.
Throughout this journey, photography has always been a major part of my life, helping me to record my journey the way i saw it, leaving me with my own rich tapestry of memories that I was not just lucky enough to live, but also privileged enough to photograph. I have cycled thousands of miles all over the world for charity, and captured every single moment on film.

Where it all started...
As mentioned already, photography has played a big part in most of my life. It started in the summer of 87 with a hot air balloon crashing into out house. The photos didnt turn out very well, and no one was hurt, but the excitement of waiting for the film to be processed got me hooked, and I spent the rest of that summer taking photos on my Dad's old cannon for an imaginary country magazine, while to my Mum's amusement, constantly raiding the contents of her wardrobe to create scenes for the summer fasion section. She knew then, before I did that I was probably gay, but also that I seemed to enjoy photgraphy. I always wondered why random items of her wardrobe that I had never seen before would very convienentlky be placed on a chair. Mum never did find that old antique mirror i took from one of the bedrooms to set a scene in the garden with my then 14 yr old sister. I wonder if it is still there, under the ivy, capturing reflections, memories, just like a camera.
For years I had wanted to take this photo, and when I was asked to do this wedding in St Lucia, while on my own honeymoon, it started to rain, and I got my dream wedding photo.
I really like this photo, taken in Italy last year of the local childrens football tournament, I was just standing on the roof of our hotel, but it looks like I am peering into another world thorugh a crak in side of a wall. Even a photograph can make the viewer see thier own little story.
I love to take a bigger photo just to grab a tiny bit later on, This was taken at King Charles Corronation, where I was lucky enough to get a unique spot away from the crowds. I have been back there seral times now. I love how this image lets the viwer into a secret world that most people never even notice.
Last year I went to Norway, hoping to get a shot of the Northern Lights, sadly we were disapointed. Never mind, we now get them in South East London. And no, I have not changed this photo, i just left it as it was taken on my Iphone 15.

With a back up librabry of images your team can change as required, or we can take images that can be reversed or edited easily.

Each image has been specially chosen for it's calming appeal, while also promoting the natural world and the importance of protecting the world around us. For every image sold from my Natuarl World collection, a £5 donation will be made to The National Wetland's charity in the UK, where it will go into protecting the UK's natural wetland habitats.

With you in control, I offer specially tailored wellbeing portrait sessions for individuals, groups or family and friends. I will sit down with you first to find out what your needs are and we will explore what options are available. With over 15 years as a special needs teacher, I have worked with many needs, including mental health and have discovered how photography can really have a positive impact on ones wellbeing, so allow me to help you or a loved one with a taylored session to help ones mental health as well as producing a beatiful portrait.
Street photography
We all love people watching, right? Wondering what people do for a job, or where they are going. Every street tells its own unique story, from the people, the lively bars and cafes with old people who dont really care much, to those full of life and not to mention that cute sausage dog. In capturing these moments I beleive I am preserving moments in history, and would like to share them with you. These are all for sale in my online shop, or availabel to use for your own needs.
